The time of the Mongolian Empire because the Mongols travelled alot throughout most of Asia, so the scenarios are endless.

The battles could be Siege of Baghdad and the Civil War for who should have succesion of the Mongols.

Genghis Khan could be included.

It would be interesting to use this setting to incorporate some Asian culture. I suggest the Mongolian Empire because it was a big empire in Asia; however I believe that any great empire from Japan to China, would be an interesting idea to ponder upon.
