I also think that we are in for a shock about Desmond. I don't mean that it is not him etc etc... but I feel that the set up for Desmond will be done in such a way that "the worst is yet to come for him" kind of scenario. I sounds harsh, many fans won't like it, (I wouldn't) but feel that Desmond is set up to surpass Altair and Ezio in what he will become and have to overcome. Alexandre Breault let slip in an interview (in french on youtube) that Desmond will be set up to face the major challange ahead of him both personally and in terms of the skills he learns from Ezio/Altair. What this means.. well we can only guess (much like what I am doing!).
