in terms of rank both coz at the end of both games both ezio and altair are grandmaster assassins altair was good because he was one of the original assassin but he was told who to kill as for ezio he is out for revenge because some onekiled his dad and brothers. Ezio can free run better but altair wasnt realy an assasin in game he was like a one man army ther was no need for stealth kills as for ezio he is more hidden plus you can play him at night wearing black so he is unsean when you add all there pros and cons there just about even but i think Ezio because he is new chances are ill say the new guy when ac3 comes out and i would like to see desmond be a full assassin
