Desmond has finally collected all the power sources he needs to unlock the door which will lead him to whatever will help him save the world. By opening this door, he speaks with Minerva and Juno. He finds out he is too late to save the world. Because the Assassins and Templars have been fighting for centuries, this has caused a lot of valuable time to be wasted. So, he is given two choices.

First off, a brief summary of the ending. In this way, Desmond would become a teacher and be praised by his disciples. Upon his death, humanity will think of him as a great leader and eventually, a god. His teachings will be used as a reason to start bloodshed and war among the new humans. The second choice is complicated. We find out Juno has been altering the course of history just so that she could prolong Desmond to reach the Grand Temple moments before the solar flare arrives. She says that if Desmond releases her from her spiritual form, and allows her to become a physical being, then humans will be spared from the sun, but fall under her supreme command and become slaves. Desmond, feeling that as long as humans still exist, someone <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">will </del>can stop Juno. Desmond then releases Juno and in the process<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, </del>dies. Juno walks off and the credits start rolling.

Minerva tells Desmond that if he lets the world end, he and few others will survive, but they will start anew, and rebuild humanity. Desmond is dead and now we're <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">lead </del>to believe that humans will now be slaves to Juno. What's Juno's motive for doing this<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, we </del>don't know<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">...</del>but we can speculate. Perhaps she wants to bring back the former glory and power of the First Civilization. Maybe she wants to have revenge for something<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, it</del>'s all very unclear. But what is clear is this<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">. </del>At first, I was pretty angry. I love these games and it was a shame to see this happen to Desmond and the rest of the world<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, but </del>now that I think about it, this is a perfect ending. What if Desmond had a definite chance of saving the world<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">. </del>The earth is fine, the Assassins and Templars are at peace, and everyone is fine and dandy. With this ending, it<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">'d </del>be almost impossible to make another AC game.

So, pretty crazy huh? Now that Juno reigns supreme, who will stand against her? Let's not forget, we might not see any other Assassins besides Desmond and the rest of the team, but we sure know they're out there. There's plenty of other ancestors and time periods we can explore. Perhaps <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Feudal </del>Japan, Civil War America, WWI<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, </del>the possibilities are limitless. Desmond is dead, so we're not going to get to relive his memories but <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">as I mentioned before, </del>plenty of other assassins will be willing to hop into the Animus and try to find the key to stopping Juno. But what about <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">are </del>favorite bad guys, the Templars? Will they ally with Juno<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, </del>and become the aristocracy in this new world order<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, heck</del>, it's what they wanted after all. Or<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, </del>will they release the fanaticism from their senses<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, </del>and finally realize that humans are meant to be free, even in the worst of circumstances<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">.</del>

So with this pretty <ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">aggravating </ins>ending that Ubisoft prepared for us, we're given the almost guarranteed sequel to the series. I mean come on, you can't just drop the biggest franchise in all of gaming. Hopefully 2013 will be the year we'll know <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">of </del>how <del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">our race </del>will repell this new evil. I hope this was some good info<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, and keep </del>playing and loving these games<del style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">, </del>they deserve it.

<ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">Anyway</ins>, there's still a lot we want and need to know, but at least we know there's going to be another Assassin's Creed. Now that Juno reigns supreme, who will stand against her? Let's not forget, we might not see any other Assassins besides Desmond and the rest of the team, but we sure know they're out there. There's plenty of other ancestors and time periods we can explore. Perhaps Feudal Japan, Civil War America, WWI, the possibilities are limitless. Desmond is dead, so we're not going to get to relive his memories but as I mentioned before, plenty of other assassins will be willing to hop into the Animus and try to find the key to stopping Juno. But what about are favorite bad guys, the Templars? Will they ally with Juno, and become the aristocracy in this new world order, heck, it's what they wanted after all. Or, will they release the fanaticism from their senses, and finally realize that humans are meant to be free, even in the worst of circumstances.

So with this pretty aggrivating ending that Ubisoft prepared for us, we're given the almost guarranteed sequel to the series. I mean come on, you can't just drop the biggest franchise in all of gaming. Hopefully 2013 will be the year we'll know of how our race will repell this new evil. After all, the games are all about freedom and that we have the power to choose our own fate. I hope this was some good info, and keep playing loving these games, they deserve it.

Anyways, there's still a lot we want and need to know, but at least we know there's going to be another Assassin's Creed.
Páàjì titun

With the many responses being posted on the web, and the feedback from people I've talked to, the general reaction to the ending of Assassin's Creed 3 has been, well...not good.

First off, a brief summary of the ending.

Minerva tells Desmond that if he lets the world end, he and few others will survive, but they will start anew, and rebuild humanity. Desmond, feeling that as long as humans still exist, someone will can stop Juno. Desmond then releases Juno and in the process, dies. Juno walks off and the credits start rolling.

So, pretty crazy huh? Desmond is dead and now we're lead to believe that humans will now be slaves to Juno. What's Juno's motive for doing this, we don't know...but we can speculate. Perhaps she wants to bring back the former glory and power of the First Civilization. Maybe she wants to have revenge for something, it's all very unclear. But what is clear is this. At first, I was pretty angry. I love these games and it was a shame to see this happen to Desmond and the rest of the world, but now that I think about it, this is a perfect ending. What if Desmond had a definite chance of saving the world. The earth is fine, the Assassins and Templars are at peace, and everyone is fine and dandy. With this ending, it'd be almost impossible to make another AC game.

So with this pretty aggrivating ending that Ubisoft prepared for us, we're given the almost guarranteed sequel to the series. Now that Juno reigns supreme, who will stand against her? Let's not forget, we might not see any other Assassins besides Desmond and the rest of the team, but we sure know they're out there.
Anyways, there's still a lot we want and need to know, but at least we know there's going to be another Assassin's Creed. I mean come on, you can't just drop the biggest franchise in all of gaming. Hopefully 2013 will be the year we'll know of how our race will repell this new evil.
