Assassin's Creed Trick

Páàjì titun

Recently, I have been re-playing the '''''Assassin's Creed''''' series, in an effort to better understand the story before I get syched up for '''''Assassin's Creed III'''''.

Naturally, I began with the first ''Assassin's Creed.'' I was sprinting through the streets aimlessly, when I noticed something quite interesting.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up or noticed before, but when starting a free-running sequence on a box of crates (or perhaps a cart), Altair has the ability to slide on his backside and fall off of the end! (Landing on his feet, of course). This can be done by pressing '''A''' (or '''square''' on PS3) and '''B''' (or '''circle''' on PS3) simultaneously, after you have begun the sequence, and are nearing the end of the crate or cart. As I have said before, when this is done, Altair appears to be "sliding" off of the object he is about to jump from. I have tested it numerous times, and I have been succesful in executing it every time (that is, as long as I timed it correctly, but it's not too difficult). It also works on some buildings, but not on most.

As I said, I am not sure if anyone has discovered this before, and if that is the case... Merda.
