My friends had all told me to play it way back in 2008 because I was moaning about how linear games had become and even the ones like Grand theft auto and such had become either a pointless shooter with a driving aspect or constant missions to make the sandbox a little bigger for no apparent reason. However when the recommended Assassins Creed this didnt seel it to me so I went blind choosing to play other linear games.

			It wasnt until my brother got Assassins Creed II for his new xbox 360 in 2010 that I picked up that hated crontroller (I being a playstation man) and gave the game a try.... I blame the Xbox controller, because I struggled to get past the first few missions, having to race Ezio's brother what seemed like a million times before I beat him! I gave up playing on it on the Xbox, and silently went to my nearest game store and bought Assassins Creed - II was still quite expensive even for the second hand copies. I started playing the first game and loved it and bought a later PS3 version of II, including all the extras and so on until I was pre-ordering the freedom edition of III! I have enjoyed the series so far but IV is looking most promising, especially to see how its going to play out.
