==History==
In 876, during her pledge to Glowecestrescire, Eivor tried to clear her name of the recent assumed murder of [[Tewdwr]]. From her investigation of the [[druid]], [[Halewyn]], Eivor went to meet Mother [[Modron]] at [[Rollendritch]].<ref>''Assassin's Creed: Valhalla'' – [[Clues and Riddles]]</ref> When talking to Eivor, Modron detailed that the [[soldier]]s of [[Gloucester|Glowecestre]] were looking for her and asked for Halewyn's info. Divulging that [[Gwilim]] obtained a heavy sleeping potion and the hideout was called "Cudd Lladron," Eivor was told by Modron that the name was the [[Wales|Welsh]] translation for the Thieves' Warren. Leaving Eivor at the pathway to Thieves' Warren, Modron stated that she would wait for her outside the stronghold. Upon entering, Eivor overheard a small commotion between two men and one of the voices was Tewdwr. Determing Tewdwr's survival, Eivor searched and found the hut where the voices originated. Entering the hut, Eivor caught sight of Gwilim standing over three prisoners, including Tewdwr. Under the threat of force, Gwilim told that the kidnapping and attempted murder of Tewdwr was paid for by [[Cynon]]. In disbelief, Eivor initially rejected the reason and asked why. Gwilim explained that Tewdwr was first kept alive for more ransom money but in the end, the captors grew to like Tewdwr.<ref name="TheStolenKing"/>

As Eivor looked to Tewdwr, Tewdwr stood up and wondered why Cynon did this, only to fall over unconscious. Pushing Gwilim away, Eivor saw Tewdwr was still injured and carried him out of the hut. Outside, Eivor went to carry Tewdwr out of the stronghold as Tewdwr talked to Eivor. Tewdwr reconsidered his position as the new ealdorman and stated to take care of both [[Christianity|Christian]]s and pagans alike, before fainting. Eivor soon left Thieves' Warren and found Modron on the stronghold's outskirts.<ref name="TheStolenKing"/>

Through her journey, Eivor was led to the stronghold from a [[Order of the Ancients clues|clue]] obtained by a member of the [[Order of the Ancients]]. Eivor was led to investigate the area and its surroundings. Eivor probed the area and checked the inside of a hut within the area. Within the hut, Eivor found a note near a corpse. After reading the note, Eivor deduced the identity of The Vellum to be [[Eanbhert]].
