Eivor learned that Charles has a son, Bernard, and Richardis has been Bernard's guardian from Charles. Upon delivering Richardis to Charles, Eivor was betrayed by Charles, who ordered their deaths. Beating his troops, Eivor left Richardis as she went to meet with Sigfred for the upcoming siege.
