			While tattoos are a prevalent feature of pop culture's idea of Vikings, historically it is less well attested. The writings Arab traveler [[Ahmad ibn Fadlan]] describe a group of [[Russia\|Kyivan Rus']] as being tattooed from "the tips of his toes to his neck". However this one of the only attestations for tattooed Vikings.
