(Or a phoenetic oversimplification) Granted, its far less general & a modernized referencial name for the Kanien'keha:ka people, but "Native American cannot be inferred as offensive in the slightest, its not some buzz word 'created by politicians' i mean its a straight literal phrase, for the indigenous peoples of the North American continent. Take 'Indian' or 'Redskin' now that's offensive & vastly more innnapropriate, innacurate & anachronistic. Now i agree his birth name should be on the page but the earlier poster made the perfectly logical arguments towards why Jackie Chan, or Charlie Sheen's names are most definitely not the birth names on their wiki pages, & for an in universe example, Al Mualim is his name. Sure he has a birth name but is that the name you grow attached to as Altair? No. Not in the SLIGHTEST. The character is Connor, pseudonym or not, when you open the map, same as Haytham, Ezio, or Altair, it says Connor. Same reason we don't refer to Altair as Mr. Ibn-La'Ahad or Sir Ezio from Florence..
