	I was just about to introduce this issue, and I'm glad to find that you have already brought it up even if it was missed for two years. "Modern times" usually refer to the period from the [[Renaissance]] to the current, twenty-first century in academia, with the 15th century referred to as the early modern period. I think it's acceptable to pull its definition back so that it begins with the mid-18th century (the {{wiki\|Modern history#Late modern period\|late modern period}}), but it is pushing it not to include the 19th century into the modern era simply because that century is ubiquitously included in the definition. The [[Industrial Revolution]] most certainly is conventionally seen as part of the modern period, if not a defining moment.
