			Shouldn't the Alamut-based brotherhood be considered part of the "Persian Brotherhood"?
			Shouldn't we consider the Levantine assassins as those who settled alongside Al Mualin in Masyaf in 1090, at which point they formed an autonomous branch from Hassan the Younger and Alamut?

			:The name "Levantine Brotherhood" for this branch is given in ''[[Assassin's Creed: The Essential Guide]]'' which also canonized the names of many other branches. "Levantine" is also used to describe this branch in various recent sources like ''[[Assassin's Creed: Unity]]''. Your observation about how it's weird for the Alamut branch under Hassan-I Sabbah to be named Levantine when it's actually based in Persia is not misplaced. We actually discussed this before over at the [[Talk:Alamut\|talk page of the "Alamut" article]]. It's confusing because while it's based in Persia, officially the Alamut and the Masyaf Assassin states were supposed to be one entity, or one branch. At the same time, Al Mualim was said to have wanted to establish his independence with his citadels in the Levant, so the degree of autonomy that Masyaf and the other eight citadels had in the An-Nusayriyah Mountains from Alamut is unclear.
