Moreover, [[:File:ACIII-ManorP1 8.png|his Assassin robes]] do not look very 15th or 16th century to me, more 17th or 18th century. The same goes for [[:File:ACIII-ColonialOutfit.png|his colonial robes]], they are most definitely not 15th or 16th, or maybe not even 17th century. This is why I believe that John de la Tour was not the first Assassin in the colonies in general, but the first Assassin in the English colonies, the Thirteen Colonies. Since his second outfit is called the Traditional Colonial Assassin outfit, and the 'Colonial Assassins' were the Assassins in specifically the Thirteen Colonies and not the others, I am even more sure of this. I also don't see a way that John de la Tour's robes would be so well conserved for nearly 300 years, and how they would have gone from the Caribbean area to Massachusetts.

John de la Tour does not sound particularly Spanish; John is an English name, and de la Tour is a French surname. Achilles said that John's Uniform represents how long the Assassins had a presence here, protecting the people of these lands. But 20-30 years is not that long at all! They really muddled it all up. If it was 80 to maybe even a century, sure, but 20 to 30 years? Even if Achilles never gave an exact number, he never even implyed it, he described it as a large time frame, and 30 years isn't that much really, especially by Assassin history standards. Both canon details are really clashing with one another! I honestly think Ubisoft had forgotten that tad bit of dialogue between Connor and Achilles about John's uniform.
