	It's beyond idiotic to reject him, and others who've provided their likeness for movie roles. I mean, on what basis other than money, this could have been done? They were afraid of not being able to pull off putting face and voice together? It was done with Darth Vader, 40 years ago. And see how well that worked out. 	I heard Randez give an interview on youtube when AC came out (though it was really unrelated to the game and only got a mention) and his voice and english isn't out of place from Desmond. I mean Nolan North had years of voice training and gives voice acting lessons himself so that part shouldn't be a problem. Ultimately these decisions are made by executives who have the idea of making characters more approachable to the "key demographics" they are aiming the game at. More often then not these executives make a blunder with it and mess up the core of a series they are changing things for. Honestly, you would be surprised at how many times it happens that executives bring together several different groups (lets say 50-75 at a time) and make major decisions based off of maybe 350 peoples opinions. Moreso though they simply make a judgement call based on how they see the market for the genre going... Basically its about how much they can sell and not the game/series/whatever.
