Throwing knives in ''Chronicles: China'' and chakrams in ''Chronicles: India'' have the exact same gameplay effects and are used the exact same way—they are identical gameplay features with different skins—but throwing knives and chakrams are not the same thing in either the lore or in reality. And I should also point out that firecrackers do not have the same gameplay effects in every game they've appeared in.
