The Levantine Assassins held a provision for the creation of one, and did so under Abbas' tenure per ''The Secret Crusade''; in addition, per the ''Revelations'' novel, Ezio oversaw a council of his own comprised of the likes of Bartolomeo, La Volpe, Paula, and the other Italian masters of his time. Should a single article be used to cover all instances of Assassin Councils, or should we dedicate this article specifically to the French council and create further articles for the aformentioned others? 			In ''Syndicate'', repeated mention is made of the Assassin Council, so I infer they're the ones making the primary decisions. But early in the game, Jacob and Evie seem to discuss the chances of the former becoming Master (strangely not Mentor, but I might be remembering it incorrectly) after taking London. I automatically assumed he meant that he would be promoted to Master Assassin if he wasn't already, but then Evie told him [[George Westhouse\|George]] would never allow it and that the Brotherhood would perish under Jacob's control, which implies he was talking about leadership.

			Does this mean:
			*Jacob is confident he would be voted as Mentor, on the Council holding veto power, but George, theoretically a member of said Council (which is strange as he never refers to them with any form of "we') would vote against it?
			**George is a member of the Assassin Council primarily working on the field, like Pierre Bellec?
