	:Altough the site says it's AC3, the Ubisoft press release only states it's a new episode. Until we have a confirmation from a Ubisoft Release with the name "Assassin's Creed III" in full letters, it will be considered a spin-off, not a sequel. -- [[User:D. Cello\|D. 	If the game were to be set in Egypt, I think that there are a lot of events that can be shaped into an AC game. The restoration period of Egypt, in which they became a British colony can be further explored. I think that Egypt possesses at this time a lot of architectural details that fit the criteria of places such as Rome and Florence. Cairo, Alexandria and several other places such as Tripoli in Lybia can be places we visit in our adventure. Now, this is all speculation, but events such as the Battle of the Nile and figures like Muhammad Ali and the Khedives have never been explored in games before. 			I have an idea... since AC3 will probably include the search for the 'Eve' character to find Desmond, why not incorporate her as the story? Why not, instead of Desmond finding her, they stumble upon each other. This would seem like destiny and would be a major blow against the Templars in the modern day, who appear to be dismantling Assassin operations worldwide... So why not then incorporate a playable female to make that final link between Desmond and 'Eve'? If Desmond's story should be halted after ACR, and if we have seen that female characters have been present in the Brotherhood itself (though never as major roles, always as the sort of citizens you pick off the street and turn into deadly assassins), why not then take one of these female assassins and give her a storyline too in order to converge, and unite the 'Adam and Eve' factor of the story, the factor that I think is often overlooked, though it is the single most important factor in order to stop the said apocalypse! As for ideas for the ancestor of the female character, I would go as far as to say a female assissin in Egypt in the 17th century. I don't know if many know this, but this was a crucial century in which the French Empire invaded Egypt briefly under the leadership of Napoleon Bonaparte, this was in 1798, and just in 1801, the power of Egypt was contested by Ottomans, Mamluks, and British forces. This is key in shaping the world as it is today, and could have a very clever storyline, and including historic figures such as Napoleon himself, Muhammad Ali (not the boxer, the actual Ottoman commander known formally as Kavalali Mehmed Ali Pasha) and include key battles and settings such as near the Pyramids of Giza, in Cairo, Alexandria, and could be tied easily to Assassin's Creed Revelations through the fact that these are Ottomans which are involved, and are following orders all the way back in Istanbul! I don't know if this idea is already been looked at or not, but I think it could make an impressive Assassin's Creed storyline, and could cleanly tie up all that has been happening into one final, single-edged storyline. 	I agree. WWII is a far too dated and clichéd scenario for the AC series. I also think it's too early to set the next chapter in a present-near future time line. Ubisoft has already confirmed that Desmond's role in the series will be coming to an end in AC: Revelations. AC3 <u>should</u> feature a new protagonist, new setting, and new historical period. Desmond could afterwards make a surprise return and tie-together his story with the new characters. If you look at the previous games there are literally dozens of scenarios for new stories. In AC1 Desmond realizes at the end that others came before him and that their memories spanned thousands of years through various cultures. In AC2 Ezio learns of the true origin of the war itself. AC: Brotherhood hinted that during Desmond's time there were at least four other assassin networks in operation around the world. I think these all could play into a new story.		I agree.
