			I wanted to take the initiative to move this page to "American Rite of the Templar Order", but alas, I've decided to delay and double-check here on the talk page. Shay explicitly mentions the name at the end of ''Rogue'' (which cannot be said for the Colonial Brotherhood being the American Brotherhood). Although Colonial Rite is far more commonly used in sources, this is only because it is describing the branch in relation to the setting before the American Revolution's success. Normally, the most recent and relevant canonically verified name should take priority over a more frequently used but outdated name I think. The colonies became America during the war, they didn’t wait until after the war. Town criers in AC 3 can be heard saying the colonies were now called the United States of America. I think the name changed from Colonial to American due to the fact that the Colonies changed into the United States of America.
