After completing the preparations, Eivor headed back to the camp to find Sigfred and Toka. However, Goll welcomed her poorly as she stated that Toka and Sigfred were busy with more catapults. Eivor, annoyed with Goll's attitude, went to find herself to wait for them and sat a bench nearby the camp. After a moment with herself, Eivor was met by Toka, who was worried about the siege. Eivor assured that she will fight those in battle, and not innocents. Sigfred walked in and challenged Eivor on his method of killing everyone within the city. After she slept the nigth, Eivor awoke to hear Sigfred rallying his warriors. Sigfred stated that they will either succeed with silver and food galore or be sent to [[Valhalla (afterlife)|Valhalla]]. After seeing a mystic [[elk]], Sigfred roared out his last words as his warriors followed him.<ref name="DarkBeforeDawn"/>
