==Biography==
In 1585, working as a spy for the [[Japanese Rite of the Templar Order|Japanese Templar]] and spymaster [[Yasuhira]], Shokichi made contact with [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member and [[samurai]] [[Hattori Hanzō]], betraying his master. While feeding him information of Yasuhira's spy network, he was soon discovered by Yasuhira. However, instead of outright killing him, Yasuhira devised a plan to have him killed by Kakushiba ''ikki'' members [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[Yasuke]] at the [[Samurai Quarters]], by having him framed as himself. However, despite losing a fight against the [[Assassins]], Shokichi revealed his true name and was spared.
