The '''Paris Commune''' was an revolutionary government that was created after the [[Franco-Prussian War]] ended with a [[Prussia]]n victory. For two months, the [[Paris]]ians revolted against the [[Third French Republic]] and wanted the city to be independent, however they were unsuccessful and the revolt was squashed.

After two months, the defense broke and the French Army overtook Paris and killed the rebels, who fought till the last man. Caught in the crossfire, the young French Assassin [[Sami Zidane]] was captured, lined up, and executed along with rebels by a firing squad. The Third French Republic took its place as the new power of France.<ref name="CH20"/>
