Born in 1570 to Nagamasa and Oichi, Ohatsu moved away from [[Odani]] with her family when she was three years old when her father and brother Manpukumaru was {{Wiki|Siege of Odani Castle|killed}} by Oichi's brother [[Oda Nobunaga]] in 1573.<ref name="Ohatsu Wiki">{{WP|Ohatsu}}</ref> Her family was then placed in the care of Nobunaga's brother-in-law, {{Wiki|Oda Nobutada}},<ref name="Oeyo Wiki">{{WP|Oeyo}}</ref> living around the [[Azuchi Castle|castle]] and city of [[Azuchi]].<ref name="ACSH">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]''</ref>

In 1582, Ohatsu and her sisters, along with the family [[Gamo Akihime|servant]], accompanied Oichi to the Azuchi market some time after she had retired from her position within the [[Shinbakufu]]. While Oichi made stops to pray at a nearby shrine, Ohatsu sat down on the ground with her sisters, mediating between the two when they had a short argument. She subsequently became a nun and died childless on 30 September 1633.<ref name="Ohatsu Wiki" />
