			In 48 BCE, Memphis was hit by frauds masquaraded as a series of "curses" conducted by [[Hetepi]], a priest of [[Anubis]] under Pasherenptah and secretly a member of the [[Order of the Ancients]], which caused Taimhotep to suffer numerous miscarriages. To that end, Mara accompanied Taimhotep to the [[The Seer\|seer]]'s house in hopes of finding a way to prevent another miscarriage. They were later assisted in the ritual by the [[Medjay]] [[Bayek]] of [[Siwa]].
