	Liu Yan has been a fan of the series since she bought the [[Assassin's Creed\|first game]] in 2008, spending her very first paycheck on a new computer and the game. In 2010, Yan starting creating an original comic series ''Cain's Red Sea'', inspired and influenced by ''Assassin's Creed''. Her favorite characters from the ''Assassin's Creed'' franchise are [[Yusuf Tazim]] and [[Shay Cormac]], with many of her fan-made comics centering around one or the other.
