Pierre de Lancre described La Morguy as a woman in her early thirties with black hair and bright blue eyes. He also noted that despite being disguised as a peasant, her tricks did little to hide her "natural majesty", which he deduced to be from a noble or higher class upbringing, like many others in the Templar Order.<ref name = "Chapter 10"/>
