==History==
In 1582, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member and ''[[Ninja|shinobi]]'' [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] arrived to check in on [[Koshiro]],<ref name="The Leaf Turns">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[The Leaf Turns]]</ref> after his injuries sustained by [[Genzaburo]] and his former unit.<ref name="Genzaburo Soldiers">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[Genzaburo's Soldiers]]</ref> While there, Naoe helped Koshiro tend to his residence while he trained youths in self-defense since he can no longer fight.<ref name="The Leaf Turns"/>

While cleaning, Naoe found a letter unsent and just as Koshiro entered, she read that he intended to leave. He explained that he can no longer fight and had no purpose. Naoe reminded him of his woodworking but he stated that he buried his box at [[Inariyama Garrison]] due to Genzaburo's disdain for his hobby. Naoe promised to find it and instantly left to bring it back to him.<ref name="The Leaf Turns"/> At some point, Naoe and fellow Kakushiba ''ikki'' member also established a ''[[Kakurega|kakurega]]'' in the southern part of the village.<ref name="ACSH">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]''</ref>
