While traveling through the mountain range, Roshan noticed Nafanua sick and throwing up any food. Suddenly, a flurry of arrows were shot at them after Nafanua fell over. Roshan, Azadeh, Onyx, and Dias found and killed their attackers. However, Roshan found Nafanua dead while Dias held Francis accountable. Yet, Roshan determined Nafanua was poisoned and accused Francis as well due to his background of the [[Holy Roman Empire]] and his access to her. Cornered, Francis dropped his act, proclaimed his allegiance to the Martyrs, and escaped from Dias and Roshan's grasp.
