'''Kallistros''' was the brother of the [[Elis|Elean]] [[Chalkippe]], living in the 5th century BCE [[Greece]].

Considered to be strange and peculiar in his habits and deeds, Kallistros lived in his [[Kallistros' farm|farm]] in the [[Forest of Pholos]], east of the [[Linou Farm]]. Tending to follow his flights of fancy, Kallistros let the farm fall into disarray. Instead of eggs, however, the birds gave him trouble, as they attacked all living things on sight, and made noises which scared the passing Chalkippe.
