One of the twins met Hammon at Waterloo station, where he expressed concern over marrying his fiancée, as they had never met and he was worried that she was marrying him only for the money. They were ambushed by a group of Blighters as they left the train station, though the Assassin dealt with them swiftly. Hammon then proposed a plan to see if Bella was genuine in her feelings: act as if the robbers had succeeded in killing him. Though skeptical, the Assassin did as asked, throwing one of the bodies into the Thames and driving Hammon to his fiancée's house to deliver the sad news. She was visibly distraught and Hammon fell in love with her. One of the twins met Hammon at Waterloo station, where he expressed concern over marrying his fiancée, as they had never met and he was worried that she was marrying him only for the money.
