==Biography==
Around 38 BCE Hagiel became etangled in a scheme of [[Hestorikas]], steward of [[Yebu Nome]], who took his cat, Lord Furface and threatened to kill it. On the road to [[Swenett]] Hagiel camped with steward's soldiers and accused travelling merchants of destroying his fishing nets. This in turn caused the soldiers to demand a recompense for the damages. Most travellers agreed to pay and the rest was threatened by the soldiers, with all the goods ending up in Hestorikas' hands. One of their victims was merchant [[Dennu]], who was deprived of all his possessions, including his father's ring.<ref name="Fish Out Of Water">''[[Assassin's Creed: Origins]]'' – ''[[The Curse of the Pharaohs]]'' – [[Fish Out Of Water]]</ref>

Some time later Hagiel noticed another potential victim, the [[Hidden Ones|Hidden One]] [[Bayek]], and yet again cried out for help, prompting the soldiers to act. They demanded that Bayek pays for the damage unless he wants to end up in a cell. Unbeknown to the extortionists, Bayek was investigating the scheme on behalf of Dennu. He dealt with the soliders and questiond Hagiel. The man was trying to convince Bayek it's now what it seemed, but he soon realized the scheme is known. He then turned to convincing him he himself was a victim as much as the merchants. Faced with Hidden One's disbelief, he explained that his family is held captive and later specified he meant his cat, the only family he had. When Bayek warned him he never wants to see him again, Hagiel assured him he won't and noted he can always get another cat. The Hidden One ultimately killed Hestorikas, ending the scheme once and for all.<ref name="Fish Out Of Water" />
