Naoe was sent by [[Matsu]] to collect medical supplies in the form of maggots.

==Dialogue==
Naoe heads south of the [[Hinotani Shrine]], following the road by the river. She soon came across the carcass of a dead [[horse]] and collected maggots on the corpse.

Naoe collected the maggots for Matsu, only to learned that little Murasaki was not actually injured but faked it to stop her grandfather from pushing himself to cross the mountains just to get to safety.
