Contracted with his brother, Geir was enlisted by Hidden One Fuladh into a [[Fuladh's mercenaries|group]] of [[Mercenary|mercenaries]] to locate the [[Martyrs of Agaunum]] and acquire the case they protected. After they all prepared, they began to track the Martyrs' route. After a couple of days, they listened to a plan from the young [[thief]] [[Roshan]], who planned to ambush them at an incoming mountain passage. She explained that they would attack after [[Wei]], a [[China|Chinese]] bombmaker, dropped his [[bomb]]. Geir and his twin waited alongside Roshan, {{Wiki|Samoa}}n warrior [[Nafanua]], [[Wales|Welsh]] mercenary [[Mared]], [[Rome|Roman]] [[Piracy|pirate]] [[Dias]], and self-proclaimed [[Christianity|Christian]] prophet [[Francis]] while Wei, guarded by [[Iran|Persian]] mercenary [[Azadeh]] and her [[wolf]] [[Onyx]], waited atop the cliff. Francis was in charge of waving the signal, yet he signaled too early.<ref name="Chapter 7"/>

====Losing teammates====
With the bomb misused, Gud, Geir, Dias, and Mared fought the Martyrs until joined by Roshan and Nafanua, who were shocked from the bomb's blast. Despite their best tries, the Martyrs fled with their case while the mercenaries lost Mared, who was used as a body shield by Dias. Nafanua accused of Dias of murder, much to his defiance. However, after Azadeh calmed down tensions between them, they later agreed to go over the mountain and be ahead them by going by the [[Red Sea]] to [[Karachi]]. Going over the mountain, Geir and Gud roped each other together with the others in their own groups. Although they climbed successfuly, the descent proved to be dangerous. When Roshan lost her footing, making her group fall. Luckily, both twins saved them. However, when Gud stepped on loose rocks, they fell on top of Wei's head and one knocked Wei out and loose. Although Roshan went to save him, it was too late as Wei lost his grip and fell to his death. Despite Wei's loss, they completed the descent without any issue. While Geir joined the group to the dock nearby, Roshan and Azadeh left to find Wei's body.
