When Guthrum occupied [[Chippenham|Chepeham]], [[Hampshire|Hamtunscire]], Bjorn and Frode followed. Guthrum had since captured Brother [[Ealric]], one of King [[Alfred the Great|Aelfred]]'s advisors. When Guthrum and Ealric walked about town discussing matters, they found out all relics and food had been stolen from the church, even though Guthrum had ordered not to plunder Chepeham.
