			All of the NPCs that previously occupied the space in front of the sealed western gate in [[Honor and Enemies]] can be found dead on the ground there—soldier and civilian alike—once this memory begins. It is unknown whether this is simply the game disposing of NPCs it no longer needs or is an implication of them being killed by the nearby Vikings moving catapults into position.

			Eivor's line about how the workshop "has a good line of sight on the city walls" may be intended for after the battle due to the small window it can trigger before reaching it. However, as soon as the last enemy is slain, the memory fades to black and the final cutscene with Sigfred plays, making it difficult to actually trigger there—although it can under the right circumstances. It only triggers if Eivor is anonymous while nearby Sigfred, which does not last long when charging the rooftops to reach it. Players that wish to ensure it is exhausted should try to remain out of sight of any patrolling soldiers, who will completely ignore the charging horde of raiders until they are within the workshop's borders.

			After completing this memory, the Defender's Rest will downgrade from a Restricted area to hold the general Distrust state of northern Paris, and will be occupied by Sigfred's men, at least until the Siege of Paris is completed, when the entire Paris region will revert to a "pre-Siege" state. Thus, it will be much easier to claim the treasures within the area during this window of opportunity.
