Against her [[mentor]] [[Agaté]]'s orders, she impersonated a slave and boarded a vessel bound for the [[Yucatán Peninsula]], hoping to shed light on the matter.<br><br>After a long journey, she arrived at Chichen Itza, where the Templars had built a massive work camp. After discovering that her [[Jeanne|long-lost mother]] had been working with the Templars, Aveline decoded [[Jeanne's diary pages|pages from her diary]]. Using her mother's notes and map, she traveled through [[Chichen Itza Temples|an underground maze]] where she found a fragment of a [[Isu|First Civilization]] [[Piece of Eden|artifact]] known as the [[Prophecy Disk]].
