She did, and with the help of [[Phoibe]], learned that the Client was supposed to meet Deinomenes at [[Phaia's Pig Farm]] that night to exchange a deed for some land. While Phoibe snuck into the Client's home, Kassandra talked with the man, so that Phoibe could grab what seemed relevant or interesting. The man confessed to Kassandra that he loved Damalis, and that he thought he'd be better "than another more careless man." He went on to confess that that's why "he" was making the Client do it all, and unless he hurt Damalis, he'd be killed. In the end, the man promised Kassandra to stop it, leave Damalis alone.<ref name="To Help a Girl" />
