However, they were soon ambushed by [[Anglo-Saxons|Saxon]] reinforcements while Alfred was nowhere to be found. During the [[Battle of Chippenham|battle]], Eivor found herself aiding her allies [[Broder]], [[Erke]], and [[Stowe]] at the garrison.
