==History==
In 873, the farm was "attacked" by a man named [[Grendel]] who seemingly suffered a form of {{Wiki|gigantism}}. While Grendel did not mean harm and simply only wanted to the play, his overwhelming strength accidentally killed its inhabitants and left Hrothgar heavily wounded. Hrothgar managed to crawl up to the top of the monastery to safety when Grendel left while leaving traces of mold throughout the surrounding.<ref name="ACV">''[[Assassin's Creed: Valhalla]]'' – [[Prey in the High Hall]]</ref>

Some time later, the [[Viking]] [[Eivor Varinsdottir]] travelled to the farm with the abbess [[Wulfhilda]] to investigate the trail of a monster attack on a farm in the south. They managed to find Hrothgar at the monastery top, who reported the events that transpired before dying to his wounds. Eivor and Wulfhilda then made the decision to remain until Grendel returned. Sure enough, Grendel returned and was attacked by both of Eivor and Wulfhilda. Mortally wounding Grendel, they then realised that he was responsible for the attacks even though it was not his intention as he simply wanted to play. As Wulfhilda gave Grendel his last rites, Eivor then tracked down the trail mold out of the farm.<ref name="ACV" />
