Going from the Wookieepedia model, when you say Appearances section do you mean a Sources (sub?)section for reference works as well? Cause I feel The Essential Guide et al, should get a look-in too.

I would like to see something more comprehensive rather than trying to find information and being sent to the far reaches of Wikipedia but will this mark the end of the templates? Totally useless for mentions, I think, but I like the aesthetics of them.
