(I especially like the tabbed images thing, that's gonna be useful for another wiki I edit.) But it's still super limiting if you can't go into .css. For example, I relatively recently added a "Comic infobox" template (which I haven't finished implementing due to schoolwork) which uses a slight variation on the game theme (the background colour is different). I would not be able to implement that at all with the new portable infoboxes.

Glad you like how the Game infobox looks like.

For the CSS it's a known limitation and it aims at centralizing the styles for infoboxes as it's very hard to maintein unified look with all the local stylings. Maybe you could talk with admins on assassins creed wiki to get access to the CSS page?
