<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve seen people talk about these connections on the internet, but I think I found a possible link that proves they are related. I don’t think anyone else has considered this connection.

<p class="MsoNormal">In an audio file, Berg tells Violet about an experience he had in the Animus. He tells her about a Viking ancestor that was part of a raid on Lindsifarne.
</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Shay found Viking armor that also had the medal with the tree on it.
</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This made me wonder if Shay found the armor that was worn by both his and Berg’s ancestor.
</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The tree is from Norse mythology. Vikings believed in Norse mythology.
</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The other special outfits didn’t feature the medal, which makes me think Shay didn’t put the medal on the Viking armor.
