==Biography==
In 1542, Balthazar worked with local [[monk]]s in [[Izumi Settsu]] and trafficked people into servitude for his homeland. Through his subordinates, he was able to purchase a young girl [[Fujibayashi Tsuyu|Tsuyu]] and sailed to [[Lisbon]]. One night, he caught sight of Tsuyu out of her room and ordered his men to capture her. When she refused, he ordered the guard to cut her fingers from her dominant hand. However, [[Fujibayashi Nagato|Fujibayashi Masayasu]] ambushed and killed the guard instantly, surprising both Tsuyu and the Templar.<ref name="Ch20"/> Confronted, Balthazar sent his men to kill Masayasu, but all of his men fell to the ''shinobi''{{'}}s blade. Attacking him, he managed to apparently wound him and nearly killed him. Before he could, he was struck with a [[shuriken]] to the throat by Masayasu, falling to his knees. Bleeding out, he was quickly killed by Masayasu.
