	The Astral Blade was created as part of an internal community initiative within the Mentors Guild, in which teams collaborated in a workshop to design weapons inspired by either Isu or Viking themes. Alongside ~~the~~ the [[Valravn's Claw]], the Astral Blade was chosen as a finalist to be added as a playable weapon to [[Assassin's Creed: ~~Valhalla\|Assassin's Creed~~ Valhalla]]. It was made available to members of the Mentors Guild on September ~~7th~~ 2021, and to all players via [[Ubisoft Connect]] on December ~~14th~~ 2021.
