			Players are split into equal teams; Assassins and Templars, and aims to defeat the other team. Every player's identity is secret and so everyone is given [[Eagle Vision]] cards in order to spot hidden enemies or secret treasure. To defeat an opponent a set of requirements must be completed first. The Assassins must kill all Templars and vice versa. 			Everyone starts with the following cards; A Faction card (Assassin or Templar) to place in the card holder face down, Elimination Method card (single use), An Eagle vision card (unlimited use), An Item card (single use), and a ''Requiescat in pace'' card.<ref name="rules" />

			Each player need to play an 'Elimination Method card' to kill one enemy and each Elimination Method can only use one once in the game. When a player has eliminated someone, they must announce "Vendetta" loudly. The victim must then replace their Faction card with their ''Requiescat in pace'' card to signal to the rest of the players that they are no longer in the game. The killer then recovers their victim's Item cards (if they have not been used), as well as their Elimination Method card. To remove their next victim, the player must then use the Elimination Method card they have just acquired, since the one just used is no longer valid. At any time during the game, players can use an Item card to gain an advantage at the right time.<ref name="rules" />
