			Watching the scene unfold, Nagamasa is impressed by Saito's strength and determination, as well as the amulet's powers, which he believes will allow them to succeed in their goals. Meanwhile, [[Yun Pyeong-Gyu]] brings an empty [[Treasure chest\|chest]] for Saito to put the amulet into. With the artifact secure, the group prepares to escape the island, but sees the ''[[Fenghuang]]'' unable to dock due to the [[Rattan Shield Company]]'s presence on the beach.

			While the ''Fenghuang'' fires several [[cannon]] shots at the shieldmen, Saito and the others decide to swim to the [[ship]] and jump into the water. Nagamasa and his men do not join them but promise to meet them at their destination, which Saito reveals to be the [[Sultanate of Sulu]]. After boarding the ''Fenghuang'', the unconscious Edward is taken to rest while Saito orders [[Mustafa\|Rupiya]] to set a course for Sulu. The [[captain]] is hesitant, mentioning that the Sultanate is hostile towards outsiders, prompting the crew to have a small debate about their next destination. In the end, [[John Young]] convinces them to stick to their original plan, as it is what Edward would have wanted, and the ''Fenghuang'' sets sail towards Sulu.

			Elsewhere, a [[Shimazu clan\|Shimazu]] [[ninja]] who was mortally wounded in the battle with the Zhang Wei Union gives a note to a [[raven]] that came to feed on the dead bodies. The raven flies to [[Jeong]]'s ship, where the admiral receives the message. She informs [[Xiao Han]], [[Liu Qing]] and [[Xue Yan]] that, although [[Fuma Sukuna]] and his men have been killed, they managed to inflict heavy casualties on the enemy beforehand. To this, Xiao Han vows to eliminate their enemies now when they are at their weakest point.

			Meanwhile, in Sulu, [[Jan van Aert]] makes a deal with Sultan [[Badarud-Din I]], telling him about the amulet in the Zhang Wei Union's possession. In [[London]], three [[Assassins]] arrive at the [[Kenway Mansion]] and knock on the door. [[Tessa Kenway]] answers and, after confirming she is Edward's wife, is told that the Brotherhood has uncovered a plot against her husband.

			Two of the Assassins who visit Tessa resemble [[Jacob Frye\|Jacob]] and [[Evie Frye]]; while this may be a simple [[Easter eggs\|easter egg]], it is not impossible that these two unnamed Assassins are ancestors of the [[Frye family]]. The third Assassin heavily resembles [[Adéwalé]], specifically his appearance in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Rogue]]''. If this is indeed intended to be Adéwalé, then him wearing his outfit from ''Rogue'' instead of the one from ''[[Freedom Cry]]'' could be seen as anachronistic.

			The trees in the Kenway Mansion's courtyard have brown leaves, implying it is autumn. This could suggest at least six months have passed since Edward's arrival in [[Southeast Asia]] and, hence, the start of the webtoon.
