Swimming closer to the light source, he discovers it to be the [[crescent amulet]], but just as he touches the artifact, the skeleton holding it seemingly comes alive and addresses Noa as his ancestor, [[Edward Kenway]]. Noa then finds himself in a [[Nexus\|white void]], face-to-face with the dreaded [[Piracy\|pirate]] and [[Sage]] [[Bartholomew Roberts]].
