After Xiao Han questions how Edward can call himself an Assassin when he opposes the [[Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins\|Chinese Brotherhood]]'s cause, Edward calls out Xiao Han's own hypocrisy, comparing him to Rajah, who similarly sought his people's freedom but was corrupted by the amulet and only caused more pain and suffering.

			However, Xiao Han is unmoved by Edward's words, claiming that his course of action is for him and his brethren alone to decide and that Edward's only part in their cause is to surrender the amulet. At that moment, [[Shimazu Saito]] arrives and fires an [[arrow]] at the rope dart holding Edward in place while revealing that [[Hendrik]]'s [[Hendrik's sea log\|sea log]] is in her possession. Edward is relieved that Saito has decided to return to him and the two prepare to make their stand against Xiao Han, who is joined by [[Xue Yan]] and [[Liu Qing]].

			Elsewhere, Rajah's rebels continue cutting the [[Celestial Chariot]]'s ropes while [[John Young]], having run out of ammunition, watches helplessly. He decides to lower the balloon's flames in the hopes he will be able to make a safe landing, but the Celestial Chariot suddenly begins to crash as John screams in terror.

			At the same time, [[Yun Pyeong-Gyu]] and [[Mustafa\|Rupiya]] notice [[Jeong]]'s fleet approaching [[Cebu]], just as the admiral decides to attack the ''[[Fenghuang]]'', breaking her promise to wait for the Chinese Assassins' signal. The ''Fenghuang'' is able to sink several of Jeong's [[ship]]s, but with more vessels approaching, Yun decides to unveil his latest invention: [[Greek fire]] bombs, which he orders the crew to load into the ship's [[cannon]]s.
