			==Plot synopsis==
			With the [[Celestial Chariot]] on fire, [[Xialun Qing]] remembers [[Yun Pyeong-Gyu]]'s instructions on how to proceed in the event of an emergency and jumps out of the balloon before deploying her [[parachute]]. She lands safely on [[Monkey Island]], though her parachute gets caught in a tree, leaving Qing stuck. Soon enough, she is discovered by a group of natives who approach her cautiously, causing Qing to scream in terror.

			Meanwhile, aboard the ''[[Fenghuang]]'', [[John Young]] angrily confronts Yun, as it was his invention that nearly got Qing killed, while the latter remains silent, still in shock from what he has just witnessed. [[Edward Kenway]] tells John to calm down, understanding his concern for Qing's safety but at the same pointing out it was her choice to board the Celestial Chariot.

			After Yun returns to his senses, he apologizes to John for failing to test the balloon's stability and claims that the blame for Qing's current predicament lies entirely with him. John forgives Yun and Edward promises that they will find and rescue Qing, prompting a crying John to hug Edward and call him a "true friend". Meanwhile, [[Shimazu Saito]] locates the place where Qing landed on Monkey Island and informs the others, prompting the crew to sail towards the island.

			As the ''Fenghuang'' approaches Monkey Island, [[Rajah]] spots the [[ship]] from his [[fort]] and orders his men to fire on it. [[Mustafa\|Rupiya]] realizes they have sailed into another "boneyard of sails", similar to the [[Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 29\|one]] from the [[Paracel Islands\|Paracels]], but Edward is undeterred and devises a plan to have himself, John and several other crew members sneak onto Monkey Island while the others distract the native warriors. With that, he leaves Saito in charge of the ''Fenghuang'' and boards a rowboat alongside John and several volunteers.

			While the ''Fenghuang'' attacks the fort, Edward and the others arrive on Monkey Island and find Qing's parachute, though no sight of Qing herself. After noticing footmarks on the ground, Edward decides to use his [[Eagle Vision]] to track them.
