			On Monkey Island, [[Rajah]]'s men spot the balloon and initially mistake it for a flying beast, before one of them clarifies that it is just a machine built by their enemies. He then orders the others to report to Rajah and to prepare to open fire on the Celestial Chariot. Meanwhile, Qing finishes surveying the island and draws a map with the locations of all enemy encampments before sending it down to the ''[[Fenghuang]]''.

			With the locations of the camps known, [[Edward Kenway]] orders the crew to fire on them using the [[ship]]'s mortars, allowing them to continue their voyage safely. However, at that moment, a powerful gust of wind causes the burning Greek fire to spill inside the Celestial Chariot. As the balloon catches fire, Qing becomes trapped with no apparent way to escape while John and the others watch in horror.
