==Plot synopsis==
The unidentified [[DedSec]] [[Chicago fixer|hacker]] plays an audio recording of a [[Templars|Templar]] discussing [[Abstergo Industries|Abstergo]]'s retrieval of the [[Lotus disk|third]] [[Piece of Eden]] from [[Shimazu Saito]]'s grave and their efforts to create a replacement device for the missing [[Lantern (Piece of Eden)|second artifact]], as well as find the [[Forgotten Temple (Isu)|Forgotten Temple]], where all three Pieces are meant to be brought together. The Templar then discusses [[Shimazu Sei]], mentioning that as soon as Abstergo is done extracting all the relevant data from her [[Genetic memory|genetic memories]], she will be terminated to serve as an example to all Templar traitors.

As Noa asks what took him so long to arrive, the Assassin responds that he did not have the luxury of flying in through the roof. He then hands Noa the [[Hidden Blade#Pivot Blade|Pivot Blade]] once wielded by his ancestor [[Ratonhnhaké:ton]], telling him that it's up to him to finish this, one way or another. With the blade in-hand, Noa barges into the laboratory and threatens the sole scientist inside to shut down the [[Animus]]. The terrified scientist complies and Noa rushes to check on Sei, only for her to mistake him for [[Edward Kenway]].
